Notes
"This album consists of the two deleted BBC records, "The Importance of Being Hoffnung" and "Timeless Hoffnung" which were made up of the Hoffnung-Richardson interviews, the Bricklayer story and surviving archive recordings of radio appearances. Side 4 of this re-issue includes a recently discovered off-air recording made by Hoffnung himself of a broadcast he made in 1954 about his musical background." Comes with a 12"x12" insert of one of Hoffnung's cartoons. The titles are as per the labels; the back sleeve features abbreviated versions only.
