Originally released on 8 December 1967.Valid details about 1973 Pressing:Like First pressing (1967) the '73 pressing has 1) around the edge of the label, the words stating the rights of the publishers starting with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." - capitalised GRAMOPHONE rims; 2) a press-out centre; 3) a gatefold laminated picture sleeve and a 28-page book, including lyrics that is stapled into the middle. The full color book comes with exclusive pictures, a strip cartoon of the original story; 4) 2 singles housed in white inner sleeves; 5) a Silver Parlophone logo; 6) a "℗ 1967" statement; 7) Catalog No. "SMMT-1" and the word "STEREO" are printed at the upper corner of the back cover; 8) At the inner pocket, the old Apple mark, which looks like a drawing, and the word "Apple Presents" is printed; 9) The Odeon logo mark and the company name "E.M.I. RECORDS (The Gramophone Company Ltd.)" are printed at the inside of the picture sleeve; 10) The words "MADE & PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" are printed at the inside, and 11) The printer name "Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." is printed at the bottom of the inside of the picture sleeve.Unlike First pressing (1967) the '73 pressing 1) does not have across the press-out centre the words, "sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists"; 2) has a press-out centre without embossed taxcode, KT; 3) does not have a blue lyric sheet. It is yellow; 4) has a a boxed EMI logo on inside picture sleeve, 5) has taxcode, "KT" as part of run-out stamp on sides 1, 2 & 3, and 6) has matrix number suffixed with side-1 & -3: "1"; side-2: "2" and side-4: "3".
